The things of our Espe/II

Gaza, one year later

94.300 women, opposite to 5.682 men, attend every day in Spain to persons who are in dependency situation.
There are numbers contained in the statistics of not professional minders updated to January, 2010 by the Ministry of Health and Social policy, although it does not discard that the number is top, since this analysis gathers the information of the General Treasury of the Social security, which only refer to the persons inscribed in the Special Agreement of not Professional Minders.
Is this the exceptional nature about which he was speaking the Law of the Dependency? Is this an effective equality between men and women?

On January 24, we do not forget.

Today there are fulfilled 33 years of the murder of the ‘Lawyers of Atocha’, murdered by a group of extreme right-wingers that popped in in the buffet laboralista where they were working (Atocha, 55) and they finished with the life of Luis Javier Benavides, Serafín Delgado, Ángel Rodríguez, Javier Sauquillo and Enrique Valdelvira.
Yesterday, we were producing homage to them before the monument of the Hug, first, and in an emotive act in the CC.OO assembly room., later. Act in which they received also fully deserved homage: Domingo Malagón, the ‘forger of the CPS’, and Marcos Ann, the whole symbol of the defense of the freedoms.
Marcos Ann said that “it is necessary to spend page, after having read it”, I believe that it is not possible to tell clearer why it is necessary to defend the historical memory. That's why, I have written this post.
PD. Certainly, this week has been the birthday of Marcelino Camacho, Marcos Ann and Santiago Carrillo. To them, congratulations, for his birthday, and thank you, for his struggle.

On the access right

Today I have been in the World Social Forum of Madrid debating on the right of access of the organizations to the means of public entitlement in a workshop organized by ACSUR.
The Spanish Constitution that in his article 20 says: "The law will regulate the access of the social groups and significant politicians to the media of social communication dependent on the State", and really, later, it was even regulated by law in two occasions (in 2006 and in 2009).
Although it looks like a lie, we are before a constitutional law permanently damaged, since there has not been met any group who should have managed to "gain access". That's why, we are going to claim it and are going to denounce the nonperformance on the part of RTVE. This has been the conclusion of the debate of this morning. We want that the law is fulfilled!! (something that in this country already begins dreaming revolutionary).

The Red Week seen by Àngels

This week, Àngels has done the selection of "The red week", and has told us this:

Today an electoral survey has published THE COUNTRY obviating that in this country there are the people who votes neither for PP nor to Spanish socialist party, obviating also that the game of the democracy does not try only to come the first one but to be able to weave alliances, obviating - finally - the most minimal slight sign of scientific rigor.
Hugo shares in his blog that has ordered a letter to the advocate of the reader (defensora@elpais.es) and up it cheers us to order something similar to this:

Well, this number, 19.1 is the percentage that The Country hid in his survey published on February 7. For rounding, one of every civil cindo does not exist, his vote has no interest. The Red Week, for Kabila

Hugo, enters another worrying topic – the corruption - and does an opportune comparison between two facts that have produced this week to themselves.

The Red Week seen by me

This week I have been the manager of selecting "The Red Week". When I prepared to do it I decided that there would be a post for every day of the week, and that there would be balance between blogueros and blogueras. I have tried it (although I warn that it has been difficult) and … this is what has gone out!!
On Monday: Liber raised warrior and put us to all and all in orbit with his post “the time of the people neither can nor must wait”. Time of the people and time of the proposals of IU.
On Tuesday: In his post “citizenship, agreement and health”, Àngels was attracting attention on the need that we imply ourselves to obtain a good public health system, moving forward the intervention that it would have on February 26 in the days on health organized by the FEC and the group IU-ICV.
On Wednesday: About the mobilizations against the pensionazo Hugo spoke in “The beginning of the movement”, and I coincide with him that 23-F it was not an arrival point but it was a starting point.
On Thursday: Javier Mesonero wrote on a topic that would have given place to ink jets if it was not because we are in the digital age, the death of Orlando Zapata. Of everything what I have read on the topic, I believe that it is the post with which more I identify, that's why I have selected his "I condemn".
On Friday: Next week celebrates the Court Russell on Palestine in Barcelona, there have not been small the difficulties that are having to be avoided to be able to celebrate it, that's why it seems important to me to do to me echo of the post that Francesc Matas writes handles this topic, "Court Russell Palestina".

Something very serious happens in Spain

There obviates the author that a report of the Observatory of the Judicial Power against the Violence of Servant and of Genre it reveals that of 530 cases analyzed in the whole Spain only in one there were indications of which the supposed victim had lied.
Certainly, the book is written by Diego de los Santos, who for years was attached to the Defender of the Andalusian People. And … it is true, if a book of these characteristics can be published in Spain the fact is that, really, something very serious happens.
PD. I do not believe that this book would have been written if we should speak, for example, about terrorism. Although, a year, there are more deaths for violence of genre than for terrorism.

Court Russell on Palestine

I have read in the web of ACSUR that has concluded the first international meeting of the Court Russell on Palestine, celebrated from the last Monday, the 1st of March in Barcelona. This first meeting, he has had to analyze for an object the responsibility of the EU and his Member states in the violations of the international legality in Israel and Palestine.
The next appointment will be London, in October, 2010, when a new call of the popular court of conscience will examine the responsibility of the transnational companies.
This evening, in the Circle of Fine arts of Madrid, there will appear before the 19.30 the conclusions and recommendations of this first meeting on the part of the Belgian ex-senator Pierre Galand and the magistrate of the Supreme Court José Antonio Martín Pallín. While you can read them here.

In avenging March 8

Being the day that is, Day of the Woman, it is inevitable that a post writes on the topic, and since in some means I have listened to this morning that affects us less crisis … I want to give some information:

In the Community of Madrid, 55,9 % of idle population of long duration is women, opposite to 44,1 % of the men. Also, it is us who we sign less indefinite contracts, and who on time I complete less contracts are received by us (with what this supposes in wages and quotations).

For these motives, between many others (like the right to decide on my own body), I will be it is late in the declaration of March 8, at 19:s. from Jacinto Benavente to Atocha.
